Amanda and Kenny: A Laid Back (Surprise!) Coastal Wedding
Flowers: Succulents, Ranunculus, Juliet Garden Roses, Free Spirit Garden Roses, Spray Roses, Waxflowers, Stock, Lysimachia, Dusty Miller, Silver Dollar Eucaplyptus
Vibe: Coastal, Laid-Back, Minimalist
Amanda and Kenny’s coastal wedding featured succulents, seersucker, khaki, and two dogs of honor sporting white ranunculus and spray roses. The ceremony and reception took place at the family’s residence, located on the gorgeous Isle of Hope. Next to the bride, the most stunning things about this wedding was that it was a surprise for the guests! This element of surprise and the intimacy of the location produced a festive and cheerful energy that was simultaneously comfortable and laidback.
The bridal bouquet was minimalist and softly colorful, containing succulents, ranunculus, and a variety of roses. The heavy use of succulents throughout the event plus the semi-formal attire of the wedding party brought a fresh, coastal vibe that was both preppy and cool. This relaxed vibe was balanced with traditional elements – the brides formal gown as well as the dreamy white and pink color scheme. A dose of glitz and glamour in the reception tent added the perfect finishing touch to this fun and carefree celebration.
