With a burgundy rug and burgundy candles decorating their alter in the middle of Pulaski Square, Alison and Brian’s wedding felt intimate, cool, and inviting. Guests sat on wooden benches draped in tartan and large planters full of burgundy coleus lined the aisle. The ceremony was followed by a reception at Soho South Cafe, one of Savannah’s coolest, quirkiest restaurants. With mismatched chairs and wooden door paneling, the venue maintained the sense of hip intimacy and romance that the couple’s style embodies. In terms of personal flowers, the bouquets and boutonnieres included flowers in varying shades of pink. This tonal palette, stretching from the lightest blush to deep maroon tones, created a vibe that was both romantic and hip. The inclusion of dark, brooding flowers, like burgundy dahlias and scabiosa, added to the cool, romantic vibe.
