E&J say their vows in the courtyard of the Harper Fowlkes House.

Eleanor and Stephen take full advantage of Savannah’s old-world charm. Their ceremony takes place at the Harper Fowlkes House, one of Savannah’s preeminent architectural gems. The antique and vintage vibe afforded by the location is amplified by Eleanour’s choice of floral design and color scheme. The wedding party wears white, black, and blush. The flowers follow a similarly simple and toned down concept – muted tones of blush, lavender and yellow fill the bouquet, while simple baby’s breath is used to both line the aisles and drape the banisters.  The result is a stunning display of rich texture and delicate color.

The use of muted colors and simple baby’s breath creates a highly refined look and allows the textures of the flowers to stand out.

Baby’s breath lines the aisle and drapes the staircase. The abundant use of this extremely textured flower amplifies the character of this nearly 300 year old venue.

The old railroad station

After getting married at the historic Harper Fowlkes House, E &S celebrated at the Georgia State Railroad museum. Another national landmark, the railroad museum is an architectural relic full of industrial charm. The simple and rustic interior offer a perfect backdrop for the muted colors and rich textures of Eleanor and Stephen’s wedding. All aspects of the visual experience balance rugged and delicate elements to striking effect.

Eucalyptus with muted ranunculas and lavender bring softness to the wooden table top and bronze candle holders.

Soft muted colors, highly textured blooms, and blush colored linens bring delicacy and softness to the rugged wood and brick found in the railroad museum’s blacksmith shop.

Blush is a dominant color in this wedding’s theme, and here it works beautifully against rustic and industrial elements.
